AN AMBITIOUS MIND TRAPPED IN A LAZY BODY
I, am a person with vision driven by dreams.
But…
I lack the will to translate those dreams into reality.
My ambitions get somnolent at the mere sight of the bed.
My dreams take a backseat to the rhythmic tu-dum of Netflix.
My SOUL, who still has some shame left and refuge to surrender to the sansarik moh-maya, tries to pull me out of my comfortable hibernation.
As I stated before, I am lazy but I still have high goals therefore I am capable of self-loathing for not trying harder.
So here I am…
Trying…Again…
C’on join me on my journey of never-ending journey. Who knows, It might help you find your destination even before me.
Well, the holy process starts with:-
GETTING TIRED OF DOING NOTHING
Once I reach peak of nothingness, I feel this immense amount of stored energy and strong embarrassment which leads me to start…….. T.H.E U.L.T.I.M.A.T.E P.L.A.N
- CRAFTING A WORK-BASED ROUTINE INSTEAD OF TIME-BASED: Let’s be real! We make a tip-top tight routine and even follow for a few days but then the motivation starts to wear off. Hence, instead of making a time-based routine where I define “5:30 am- wake up, 6 am- exercise” and get de-motivated because it’s 6:05 am and I am still on bed; I make work-based routine like- wake up-exercise-listen to podcast. I just set a limit to complete it by a definite time.
2. PRIORITISING FROM HARD TO EASY : Reading a book to review is more appealing to me as compared to looking for a client. Therefore, I
ignite my lethargic body with a surge of dopamine, paving the way for smoother endeavours later in the day.
3. LINKING REWARDS TO ACHIEVEMENTS: One of my most favourite and biggest achievement would be meeting my ideal HONOURABLE MR. RATAN TATA. But for now, I will have to manage by counting “proofreading” for an hour as achievement for which I can reward myself with Ferrero Rocher.
4. HAVING A TASTE OF LUXURY: From time to time, I like to indulge myself in fine cuisine, travel across the country (according to the amount of pocket money of course) so that I can feel the necessity of luxury. It makes me work harder for an easier life.
5. REMINDING MYSELF OF THE RESPONSIBILITY AND JOY OF GIVING BACK TO MY PARENTS DOUBLE OF WHAT THEY HAVE GIVEN TO ME. My parents should have the choice to work for pleasure rather than work for a living. The day when I give them this choice, would be happiest of my days.
6. FINALLY AND ABOVE ALL, TO KEEP THE HUMANITY ALIVE INSIDE ME WHO WANTS TO HELP PEOPLE WHO CAN’T HELP THEMSELVES AND OR WANT HELP TO GET ON THEIR FEET.
In conclusion, I guess what I am saying is- AS FAR AS I AM CAPABLE OF FEELING GUILTY BECAUSE OF BEING LAZY, I AM COURAGEOUS ENOUGH TO WORK FOR MY AMBITIONS.
ARE YOU?
COURAGEOUS ENOUGH !?
